Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  When will I see results from derma rolling?

You should see tangible results within 2 to 3 months. Derma rolling is a gradual process, so don't expect overnight results. It really depends on your body's regeneration rate. Above all, stay consistent and you'll soon see great results.

Q:  Does derma rolling hurt?

Many of our customers comment that it doesn't hurt nearly as much as they thought. On the flip side, we have had some customers say that it was excruciating pain. The better question is how's you're pain tolerance?

Q:  How often should I use my derma roller?

The best rule is this: Only use your derma roller when your skin feels healed. If it’s tender, red, pink, or showing any signs of treatment, then do not use until those signs disappear and your skin feels ready. Once every 3 to 4 weeks is sufficient.

Q:  Can I do anything to prepare for pain?

Yes, definitely! You may use a numbing cream before your derma rolling session. Depending on the cream, you may need to apply it 45 minutes prior to derma rolling. Not sure which to use? Click here to see our recommended numbing creams.

Q:  How do I safely place a roller head on its handle? To Secure Roller Head (Interchangeable Rollers)

  1. Secure plastic cover safely over the roller head’s needles.

  2. Firmly grip the white handle in one hand (‘handle hand’)

  3. With your other hand (‘roller hand’), use your forefinger and thumb to grip the roller head, pinching the case’s pins into each other. This will keep the roller head firmly inside the case so you can safely push the roller into the handle.

  4. While gripping the handle, push down on the release button with your handle hand’s thumb or index finger
